14 Days of Prayer for Redeemer - Day # 4 - Missions Worldview

Day # 4 -Please pray that Redeemer Church will have a missions worldview.  That we will see the hurting, the needy, those who do not know the Gospel, who do not know our Redeemer and we will act.  

Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”


This is a simple command from God, 'to the end of the earth'.  I once heard John Piper say, "Missions is not the ultimate goal of the church. Worship is. Missions exists because worship doesn't."  This goes to our motivation for missions, to see the world worship the Redeeming God, Jesus Christ.  Let us join together and pray that this would be the way that the community of Redeemer Church views the world.
